Waterfalls Student Care Centre is jointly brought to you by Singapore Tenkasi Muslim Welfare Society (STMWS), Leng Kee Grassroots Organization and Central Singapore CDC. STMWS was formed on 25th September 1940 and has been involved in community service since Our then.
Waterfalls Student Care Centre started operation on 1st November 1999 and was officially opened on 26th March 2000 by Dr Ow Chin Hock, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Major of Tanjong Pagar Community Development Council, District Member of Parliament for Tanjong Pagar GRC.
The objective of the Student Centre is to cater to the children's physical, intellectual, social and emotional needs and development. The centre aims to achieve maintenance of an orderly life to help children develop interpersonal skills and positive behaviour. Also, by providing enriching and stimulating activities suitable for various age group of children. Furthermore, the centre aims to provide support and assistance for children's participation in the group activities. Most importantly, the centre ensures to provide the children with a conducive environment for learning.
Moreover, the centre runs integrated special student care services with trained staffs.
In whole, Waterfalls Student Care Centre provides before and after school services for normal children an children with disabilities, aged seven to 18.
Hours of Operation
Mondays to Fridays
Morning Session: 7.30am till 1.00pm
Afternoon Session: 1.00pm till 6.30pm
Saturdays (Optional upon request)
8.00am till 1.00pm
$5.00 upwards per month depending on family's household income
(Subsidized fee available upon approval from Government)
Ages of Eligible Children
Normal Students: Between the ages of 7 to 14 years old
Special Students: Between the ages of 7 to 18 years old
